Makeup That Doesn’t Suck exists because I wanted a place to express my opinions ( and I have plenty of them) about the people, products and process of makeup. All the opinions you read or hear are mine and are independent of any input from sponsors, advertisers or affiliates.

I am a professional makeup artist and the opinions here are my professional opinions in that capacity. I am not and esthetician, nor am I a medical doctor. None of the tips or advice here are designed to replace the advice of a medical professional.

I reserve the right to deny or terminate access to this blog to anyone for any reason. Wanna get blocked? Here’s how… Profanity, personal attacks, hatespeech, recruiting or spamming or just being un-nice. This blog is to be fun and entertaining. I don’t want a few to spoil it for everyone else.

This blog is a business venture as well as an information vehicle for clients, friends and fans. Unless there is a big blinky sign indicating otherwise I write all the posts on the site. No one tells me what to say and even if they tried, I’d probably say the opposite out of spite. Occasionally, companies may provide me with samples of product to review. As an employee of a makeup brand, also receive ”gratis” from my employer. The fact the a product was provided by a company does not influence my review. There may be times that a small independent company sends a product that I can’t rate highly and I may choose to hold a review and give them feedback directly. I’m not sure its fair to handicap a new company’s reputation before they get started. For established brands, I have no such qualms. 70+ years is plenty of learning curve.

The photos that I use of the blog come from many sources and are copyrighted by their owners. I am not claiming any credit for having created the photos unless the photo is labeled as my own. If I’ve used a picture of your and you would like it removed, please let me know and I’ll take it down immediately.
